Senior Digital Project Manager

35 hours per week

As our organised, innovative and consultative Senior Digital Project Manager you'll help us meet our ambitious digital goals as you expertly oversee both large and small scale digital and multi-channel projects, developing, designing and building technical specifications and managing projects to final delivery.

Working in more than 120 countries, we do whatever it takes to create breakthroughs in the way the world treats children. Our Marketing, Fundraising and Communications department exists to inspire millions of people – from individuals to large corporate organisations – to support our quest for change. Together, we save children’s lives, fight for their rights and help them fulfil their potential.

As a key member of our Project Delivery and Production Team, you'll help drive the expansion of our range of campaigning, fundraising and supporter products, supporting digital transformation objectives across the organisation, briefing teams on KPIs and evaluation objectives, and collaborating with project teams on digital channel delivery. You'll also:

  • Advise and guide clients, helping them decide the best product for their purpose
  • Devise detailed plans for technical development across a range of digital platforms
  • Ensure all products have thorough documentation, monitoring and managing budget spending
  • Develop a working grasp of Save the Children UK's priority issues, building strong relationships across the organisation.

To be successful you will have impressive experience of project management, and will be able to take initiative, work autonomously and use time and resources efficiently, prioritising in order to meet deadlines. You will have excellent communication, adaptability, relationship-building and collaboration skills, taking into account the priorities of others by simultaneously helping colleagues to achieve their goals. You will additionally have:

  • Skill at integrating technical requirements for a range of digital channels within a single project – such as web, mobile, Facebook, Twitter, email, SMS
  • Line management experience
  • A flair for interacting with all levels of the organisation, resolving conflicts successfully and learning from experience
  • A background developing and successfully managing schedules for a complex range of digital and multi-channel projects, and the ability to develop digital projects with impressive accuracy
  • Experience of developing projects on content management systems (for example Drupal)
  • High levels of computer literacy, with basic knowledge of HTML (or Dreamweaver) and image-manipulation software.

At Save the Children our mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. If you share our mission, are passionate about making it happen and strongly believe you can contribute then join us and we'll give you every opportunity to succeed. We look forward to hearing from you.
