As you can imagine, this is a very hands-on role so the right candidate will have extensive front end experience with HTML5 and CSS and a good understanding of responsive design.

Responsible for creating and publishing compelling graphical user interfaces across all Charlotte Olympia’s online channels, the successful candidate will design and produce web only campaigns to support online initiatives, editorials, emails and animated banners. They’ll also be responsible for regularly updating the website, mobile app, mobile site and category pages with inspirational designs with a strong commercial focus. Sound good? The right candidate for this vacancy will come from an agency-side background, have experience working across advertising and branding campaigns for a range of consumer-facing brands and be happy art directing and designing. Other CV essentials include a shrewd eye for detail, the ability to think at pace under pressure and the ability to draw reference from a wide spectrum of influences.

Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing creative designs for the website, owning and developing the visual brand identity and user experience and leading the design of homepages, landing pages and sales graphics. To be in the running for this vacancy you’ll need to have a solid 4-6 years’ experience of web media and print design, excellent working knowledge of C55 Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and a strong understanding of design within an eCommerce environment. You’ll also need to come from a fashion/retail background and have strong commercial awareness.
