Bubble Wrap-Up: Top 5 Web Developer Jobs – May 2013

We don’t know how it has happened but somehow Sunday has rolled around again which means it’s time for the latest Bubble Wrap-Up.

This week we’ve decided to shine the spotlight on web developer jobs. Don’t forget though, these are just a small selection of the amazing web development vacancies we’ve got up for grabs on Bubble right now – don’t forget to visit the jobs board to see what else is available!

FStrikesLogo1First up this week, our friends at Fashion Strikes are searching for two Lead Web Developers to join their up and coming team in South West London. Responsible for overseeing the development of their fashion social media/live events site, the successful candidates will lead the development of an innovative product with a new market position and huge potential global expansion. In addition to working in an exciting, dynamic environment, the successful candidates will also receive co-founder status and an equity share of the business – not bad eh?! To be in the running for these roles, you’ll need to be an experienced PHP developer with knowledge of expertise gained over several years, have a good working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS and have experience building highly scalable and robust software architecture.


McCann_Manchester_2012Next in line, McCann Manchester (the UK’s largest and most successful integrated marketing communications agency) are searching for a new .NET Developer – midweight to join their Digital Team in Prestbury. Working with some of the most creative minds in the industry, the successful candidate will work on challenging and cutting edge projects and will have day to day responsibility for programming design and development decisions on their own projects whilst contributing ideas to other projects. Sound good? To be shortlisted for this role, you’ll need to be an expert in all things ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server and XML, have experience in a previous .NET role and have previous agency experience. Other essentials include a university degree or equivalent with formal computing/programming qualifications, great communication skills and a thorough knowledge of development environments, in particular Visual Studio.


e-recruiterIn third place this week, e-Recruiter are searching for a Web/Front-end Developer to join a well funded and profitable company based in London. Working for a tactical imaginative agency, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining their clients’ websites and applications. Fancy working with some fantastic clients and working for an agency that really cares about the work they produce? The successful candidate will have experience working in a front-end role (preferably 2-3 years), have a strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery and a keen eye for detail. Although not essential, good experience with JavaScript coding and a real passion for technology will also win you extra brownie points.


header creativeIn fourth place this week, IC Creative are searching for a Front End Developer to join one of the world’s fast growing and most exciting technology companies in the East of England. Working with some of the biggest and best semiconductor, consumer electronics, multimedia and app content developers, this role is extremely varied and rewarding. Sound good? To stand a chase of bagging this job you’ll need to have experience in concept creation and have the ability to interpret brand guidelines, wireframes, creative briefs and technical specs. You’ll also also need to have proven design ability, advanced skills with Adobe CS and a thorough knowledge of CSS, PHP and at least one JavaScript framework. Desirable skills include knowledge of HTML5, knowledge of responsive web design and experience with at least one CMS.


OPMLogo1Last but not least, OPM Response are searching for an Online NoSQL Developer to join an esteemed developer in Horsham, West Sussex. Responsible for owning certain aspects of the online offering, including architecture, interface design and implementation and testing, the successful candidate will help to create development breakdown and schedule in collaboration with producers and leads, drive test plans and offer implementation solutions for design-led requirements. Sound like your cup of tea? You’ll need to have experience in the Erlang language and C++, a knowledge of working with relational SQL data and high performance NoSQL stores and a strong interest in video games and their inner workings.
