Before we go any further, we should probably point out that you’re not seeing things. This week we’ve decided to mix things up and put our Wrap-Up out on a Sunday instead of a Friday in the hopes more of you will see it and apply for these great vacancies!
Our focus this week is on the digital strategy side of things. From content strategy to digital marketing and mobile strategies, the following vacancies all call for great candidates who can use their noggin to come up with brilliant online strategies for either top digital agencies or big direct brands.

First up, eBookers are searching for a Content and Product Specialist to join their team in Central London. Working for one of the original pioneers in the sector, the successful candidate will have a lead role in rolling out Merchandising and Search Marketing landing pages across all Points of Sale using Flex2 technology and will be responsible for the prioritisation of pages, planning, execution, tracking and communication. Interested? You’ll have a proven track record in a commercial online environment (preferably retail or travel), have a good understanding of content management and web page contruction and will have great problem-solving and data manipulation skills. Desirable skills? That’d be experience in marketing, merchandising and SEO and second language skills (French or German).
Next in line, Nokia are searching for a Senior Manager – Digital Media to join their Global Digital Team in either London or Finland. Leading the team to drive outstanding ROI of digital media investment globally, the right candidate will be responsible for digital media strategy – continuously evolving their approaches to bought media investment – and demanding generation channel development, including ongoing performance optimisation across media channels. The right candidate? They’ll be a digital, eCommerce and multichannel marketing expert with successful experience in the management of digital marketing projects and media investment. They’ll also have a proven track record of lifting digital investment ROI through clear strategy, be an expert in all demand generation channels (including social, media and SEO) and will have a strong knowledge in ad operations and bid management.
In third place this week, Homebase are looking for a Marketing Manager – Paid Search to join their multi-channel online marketing team. Based in Milton Keynes, the successful candidate will use their indepth knowledge of PPC and affiliate marketing to create and deliver compelling digital marketing strategies, educate and engage colleagues and identify new opportunities to deliver the multi channel and marketing objectives. Tempted? The right candidate will have previous hands-on experience of PPC and affiliates channels, a good working knowledge of display advertising and experience of managing a marketing budget worth in excess of £1 million. Experience with retargeting and mobile vouchers is also desirable.
In fourth place, Step Ahead Recruitment are on the look-out for a Digital Strategy Director (PR Agency) to join an award-winning international PR agency based in Central London. Responsible for building award-winning digital content-based strategies for a range of the agency’s biggest consumer clients, the successful candidate will help to develop, drive and deliver creative technical innovation and will be responsible for developing and maintaining a reputation of digital creativity for the agency. Sound like your kind of thing? The right candidate will come from a digital agency (or digital department of a PR or ATL agency), have a track record of innovative and highly creative uses of technology for clients and will be fully up to date with the latest developments across a range of digital technology platforms.
Last but not least, Matchtech are searching for a Mobile Development Team Lead to join a global technology gaming company. Based in Central London, the successful candidate will oversee day to day mobile product development activities, take a leadership role in mobile technology strategy and implementation and advise on business development. Sound like your cup of tea? You’ll need 5+ years of strong experience in a mobile products development lead role, proven success defining and launching excellent mobile products and a sold understanding of iOS, objective C and Xcode. A BSc in Engineering or Computer Science is also preferable.
