Bubble Wrap-Up: Top 5 Content & Copywriting Jobs

It’s Sunday morning which can only mean one thing – it’s time to review your latest digital job options! Yep, forget the lie-in and the late brunch – Sunday’s the perfect day to find yourself a brand-spanking new job and we’re here to help.

You see, we know you don’t really want to be looking for new jobs on your day off – that’s why we’ve done the hard work for you and rounded up the five best content management jobs  and copywriting jobs that are on our jobs board this week. Go on, take a look – hey, why not even apply for one or two? It is Sunday after all!

First up this week the University of Derby Online are searching for a new Content Development and Commissioning Manager to join their campus in Derby. The University of Derby Online is an innovative operating division of the University of Derby which has dedicated staff focused wholly on the online learning experience of students. The successful candidate will be required to lead the commissioning and development of online learning materials across the whole university. Sound interesting? To catch their eye you’ll need to be educated to degree level or have significant production and content development experience in a web-based or academic context, have significant management-level responsibility experience in a publishing/digital production environment and have the ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts.

 

GRCNext up, The Graduate Recruitment Company are searching for a Junior Content Writer to join an international publishing house in London. The company in question publish some of the biggest consumer brands in the country and have a brilliant reputation for producing first class media that is recognised globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing engaging, interesting content which will be read by thousands of people on a daily basis and writing print adverts which will go out in the national press – needless to say this is an exciting opportunity for any recent graduate! The right candidate for this role will have a Journalism or English degree and must speak English to a native level. They’ll also have proven experience of meeting deadlines and using Photoshop and HTML, while experience of writing content for an online business would definitely be advantageous.

Responsible for the stewardship and optimisation of all brand content on Harrods.com, the successful candidate will develop close working relationships with brand partners, seasonally managing their online representation and and delivering all creative content and copy throughout the brand-led user journey across the site. There’s no doubt about it, this is a diverse role, developing and blending skillsets in brand management, creative, content, marketing and eCommerce and will give you the chance to work with a number of the store’s coveted brands and products. Sound good? The right candidate will have an excellent knowledge and true passion for luxury brands and products and will have a creative and commercial background in eCommerce. Previous brand management/account management experience is essential as is experience within marketing, content, copy and UEX, while creative experience working with Photoshop and UI design tools would also be beneficial.

Next up, PFJ are looking for an Online Editor to join one of the largest consumer publishers in the world. Based in London and working on an initial three month contract, the successful candidate will help to launch a brand new online product and will be responsible for developing an editorial online strategy, commissioning, creating and editing digital content and identifying and raising website development needs for the online presence. Sound like your cup of tea? To bag this role you’ll need to have experience of: developing an editorial strategy for a new product, commissioning, editing and producing a variety of SEO-friendly online content for specific audiences and working on a day-to basis with a content management system. You’ll also have a proven track record for devising, leading and implementing successful online promotion and the ability to understand and translate web analytics into successful online strategies.

Last but not least, Success Appointments are searching for an Online Marketing and Content Manager to join a leading high street beauty retailer in London. Working in partnership with external agencies, the successful candidate will help to drive traffic, customer conversion and brand awareness that results in an increased level of profitable sales. They’ll also create and manage strategy across online marketing, focusing on SEO and improving rankings, and they’ll create and manage the social media strategy to raise customer awareness. Finally, they’ll also keep up to date with the latest search developments in the industry and line manage a small team. Sound good? The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in an online marketing environment for a fast-paced retailer and will have strong analytical skills and the ability to understand business strategies.
