SKY2015 First up this week, Sky are looking to hire a Front End Developer (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) to join their team in Leeds. You will develop high quality, testable and performant software plus championing Agile practices such as Pair Programming, TDD and Continuous Integration. As you’ll be working within a self-organising and cross functional Agile team, you will help ensure User Stories are developed in vertical functional slices, which extend from the backend to the UI. This means that quality is baked into the implementation and that each User Story can be shipped individually. You will already have strong web development skills with experience in hand-coding HTML/HTML5, CSS/SASS and JavaScript. You will also have an extensive experience with TDD and JavaScript frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, Protractor, or JSbased Test Solutions.

UALlogo Next, University of the Arts London are looking to for a Digital Development Manager to join their team in London. You will be managing the development team and supporting the University’s main digital channels, overseeing a team of developers to deliver a range of digital projects, new functionalities and applications that enhance and expand the University’s digital channels. The perfect candidate will have proven experience of managing complex digital projects using agile software development methodology. You will also be experienced in managing a team of web developers and working collaboratively with digital content managers and UX designers.

Sky_Betting_and_Gaming_company_logo Next up, Sky Betting and Gaming seeks a junior Dev Ops Engineer to join their growing team in Leeds. In this job you will be responsible for the development and support of Sky Betting & Gaming’s PaaS toolset and the reviews of platform code changed, approving or suggesting improvements to authors as appropriate. You will be an expert on the toolset; you will work with Chef, Ruby, Test Kitchen, Jenkins, git, VMWare, AWS, Packer and Red Hat Linux. As a DevOps engineer you will also identify areas where Sky Bet can make efficiencies and avoid future workload by suggesting solutions that complement Sky Bet’s existing tooling strategy. You will already be an excellent communicator who is excited by technology, with an ability to communicate technical information to non-experts.

SKY2015 Next, Sky has another developer position as they look for a JavaScript Developer to join their team in Leeds. They’re looking for a candidate who live, eats and breathes JavaScript, knowing the complete ins and out of the language. You will already be able to write in vanilla JavaScript but you’re also competent in frameworks such as Angular, Ember, React and Node. You will love getting involved in all parts of the development process, not only collaborating closely in a cross-functional team, but you are a team player and an advocate of TDD, BDD and Agile principles. The perfect candidate will be creative and keen to push forward internal development through participating in guilds, sharing knowledge and keeping on top of the latest technologies.

dynamicnationrec Last but by no means least, Dynamic Nation are looking for a MS Dynamics AX Developer/Consultant to join a high profile and expanding company in Glasgow. You will code, test and deliver high quality solutions and be involved in technical design and new projects. Not only will the position require you to communication other technical teams but you will evaluate and resolve any Dynamics AX issues. The ideal candidate will have already come from a development background, preferably using X++, C#.NET, SQL Server and potentially SSAS/SSRS. You will have had 2+ years’ experience as a Dynamics AX Technical Consultant, with strong X++, technical design and coding experience.
